    The oval chisel is a turning chisel with a lens-shaped cross-section, specially designed for turning long pieces of wood. It is particularly well suited to finishing straight, curved and spherical surfaces, achieving an excellent surface finish. Thanks to its rounded shape, it is particularly gentle and prevents damage to the hand rest. It can also be used for grooving and parting off work.
